Features:
A impregnated diamond drill bit that uniformly wraps fine diamonds in a certain concentration in the material of the drill blade matrix. Its structure is that diamond particles are distributed on the surface and inside of the drill bit blade, and diamond particles are evenly embedded in the drill bit matrix. When drilling, the matrix is worn out, and the diamond continuously emerges to plow and cut the rock. It is possible to continuously grind all the blade matrix, and there are new exposed diamonds for work. This feature enables impregnated drill bits to have a longer service life in complex formations.
When drilling, the matrix around the diamond is first worn out, and the diamond is exposed. It relies on the self sharpness of the diamond to plow and break the rock. When the diamond is worn to a certain extent (1/2 or 2/3 of the diameter), the diamond falls off, and the matrix continues to be worn until new diamonds are exposed, and so on. Its principle is similar to grinding a workpiece with a grinding wheel, which uses diamond to continuously plow and erode rocks to achieve footage. The characteristics are as follows:
1. Cutting structure - The shape of the impregnated teeth is similar to a very small blade;
2. During the process of grinding rock, the matrix material is first ground off, and new diamond particles are exposed and sharpened, continuously sharpening themselves;
3. The diamond particles are small, and the depth of penetration into the formation when the drill bit rotates is relatively shallow. It has strong impact resistance and is suitable for complex formations;
4. High mechanical drilling speed must be achieved through high-speed rotation. (Equipped with turbine and high-speed screw)
Applicable strata:
1. Suitable for igneous rocks, dense cemented sandstones, gravel bearing formations, and soft hard alternating layers with frequent and strong impact;
2. Suitable for quartz sandstone formations with high hardness and strong abradability, with a drillability level of 7 or above and a abradability level of 6 or above.
